EVO PEACE area’s history goes back to the 60’s when a wilderness research facility was established in the area by the government of Finland. The area’s buildings have been renovated and modernized regularly and now-a-days use an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient geothermal heating. Diverse designated hiking trails are just a walking distance away from Evo Centre for various outdoor activities. All of this is made complete with the Wilderness Barn which is perfect for hosting various parties and events.
Approximately 400 meters away is Lake Ylinen Rautjärvi, which has a private beach for Evo Peace guests and a rowing boat available. At the sandy beach you can stop for a swim or go fishing to entirety of three lakes. See Area Fishing Map.
EVEN THOUGH we’ll gladly provide delicacies to our guests through our catering service the Evo Lakeside Villa offers a modern well-equipped kitchen for independent cooking. The main building’s main hall presents a peaceful view over the lake Kaitalampi. Grilling is covered with a barbeque shelter and a grilling area next to the villa. There is also a terrace behind the building to wait upon for the food straight from the grill!
The villa has a brand-new electric sauna compartment with showers and a hot tub just outside. The villa has one toilet.
FOR ACCOMMODATION the 130 m2 villa has 10 bed places. Blankets and pillows are included for the same amount as number of beds. The villa also has a spacious living room which is also suitable for conference use. For example, the facilities can be used for working in separate teams during a conference organized in Evo Grand Villa – Evo Peace’s main building. The villa has a large flat screen TV that can also be used as a presentation screen.
The entire Evo Peace area has a free high-speed wireless internet network, which includes not only villas, gardens and beach areas, but also the Wilderness Barn on the edge of the area. In addition to normal web surfing, the wi-fi also allows to organize meetings and seminars in the Evon Peace garden areas!
