The Student Union of Häme University of Applied Sciences escapes the city bustle two to three times a year. According to the union’s Executive Director Aleksi Kurvi, for the past five to six years, the destination for these “evacuation trips” has been the villas of Peace and Privacy.
Ulla Partanen, the Business Director of Ramirent Finland, a rental business chain that has organised their events at the Aulanko villas of Peace and Privacy for several years, much appreciates the villas’ suitability for holding conferences with the business staff, typically followed by outdoor activities and cooking together.
The staff of Haltu Oy, a software development company based in Tampere, visit Aulanko Lakeside of Peace and Privacy every year. Production Director Jesse Juvonen says that it has become a custom to hold a joint remote working day at the end of the year, followed by a Christmas party in the villa’s saunas and enjoying the warmth of the hot tub and jacuzzi.
Peace and Privacy’s Evo Peace villa complex has been the meeting place for a nationwide singles Facebook group on several occasions. Anu Paasio from Riihimäki, who organises events for the group, says that by autumn 2023, the three villas of Evo Peace have already hosted six of their meetings.
The staff of the HVAC wholesale company Dahl Finland Oy have been visiting Peace and Privacy’s destinations since 2019. Their recurring choice has been the Aulanko Grand Villa, which CEO Jari Mikkonen describes as excellent for hosting management team conferences or other team meetings with 10-20 participants. The facilities at the Räyskälä Grand Villa have also become familiar to Dahl’s staff.
