In Ramirent’s conference villa, people cook and enjoy their time together after the meeting

Ulla Partanen, the Business Director of Ramirent Finland, a rental business chain that has organised their events at the Aulanko villas of Peace and Privacy for several years, much appreciates the villas' suitability for holding conferences with the business staff, typically followed by outdoor activities and cooking together.

Partanen, who is responsible for Ramirent’s scaffolding and weather protection department of the business, has been organising team conferences, work management days, and strategy planning events at the villas of Peace and Privacy for several years. She is not only satisfied with the services but also with how Peace and Privacy has responded to development suggestions.

“I’m happy to provide feedback and ideas for improvement, and I’ve been really pleased that they have been listened to, and certain aspects have been developed based on my feedback,” Ulla Partanen describes.

Ramirent has operations throughout Finland, so people travel long distances for conferences. The Aulanko villas have been chosen as suitable destinations not only because of their location but also due to their ample space.

“One participant may come from Helsinki, another from Turku, and a third from Sodankylä, so the location needs to have good transportation connections. The Aulanko villas are reasonably close to the airports as well. We have often used the Aulanko Grand Villa as our main conference hub, with the smaller Aulanko Lake Villa and Aulanko Lakeside being utilised as additional accommodation,” Partanen explains.
Compared to holding conferences in city hotels, the remote villas also provide the advantage of people being able to spend their free time together in these peaceful settings rather than dispersing into the hustle and bustle of the city.

“I believe that in these conferences, it’s also really important that participants coming from different parts of the country have the opportunity to get to know each other in peace,” emphasises Ulla Partanen.
