Come and have vacations, business meetings and a relaxing time in the naturally beautiful Evo in Hämeenlinna! Evo Lake Apartment is a destination equipped with all modern comforts for private and business customers with accommodation and meeting facilities for up to 17 guests.
Evo Lake Apartment is a 210 m2 apartment located downstairs in Evo Grand Villa. We rent the apartment separately as well as a part of Evo Grand Villa and Evo Peace. Please notice that Evo Lake Apartment is only available for renting as a separate destination when reserved 6 weeks (42 days) before arrival at earliest.
Evo Lake Apartment’s bedroom windows present a beautiful over the Lake Kaitalammi right in front of the Evo Grand Villa. The apartment has a scenery terrace with 2 hot tubs and a direct access to the lake. Check out the apartment’s floor plan.
Evo Peace is located less than 2 hours away from Finland’s metropolitan areas. 145 km to Helsinki and 100 km to Tampere. Lahti and Hämeenlinna are both only 50 km away. Privacy is ensured not only with a private road but also by being surrounded by a 7-hectare forest holding!
Evo Peace’s history goes back to the 60’s when the government’s game-research facility was established in the area. Not only did they research but they also bred animals. There was even a wolf corral in the yard! The buildings have been renovated and modernised regularly ever since and now use an efficient and environmentally friendly geothermal heating. The buildings have been converted for vacation and meeting use in 2018.
Even though we’ll gladly provide delicacies to the table with our catering services, Evo Lake Apartment is great for independent cooking with its modern full-fledged kitchen. The dining hall and the kitchen both have a direct access to the scenery terrace. There is a barbeque shelter and grilling area near the terrace and an additional campfire by the lake next to the sauna for outdoor cooking.
There is a modern electric sauna in one end of the apartment and an authentic old-times lakeside sauna next to the lake with a wood-burning sauna stove, a terrace and a hot tub. Both saunas have direct access to the refreshing lake and the relaxing hot tubs.
Living area: The main hall downstairs has a 65” flat screen TV and 3 comfortable couches that can be used as extra beds if needed. The table in the main hall has space for 12 people to dine or watch TV for example in-between going to sauna. The TV can be used as a presentation screen, but you can connect a gaming console as well. Our business guests have also a classic whiteboard in their use.
The entire Evo Peace area has a free high-speed wireless internet network, which includes not only villas, gardens and beach areas, but also the Wilderness Barn on the edge of the area. In addition to normal web surfing, the wi-fi also allows to organize meetings and seminars in the Evon Peace garden areas!
Kitchen: There is tableware for at least 20 persons (more for extra fee), an electric stove and oven, a big fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Moccamaster, an electric kettle and a toaster. Evo Lake Apartment’s kitchen is located right next to the sauna facility, so you can keep your refreshments cool and close when relaxing in the sauna! The kitchen has a direct access to the terrace and grill also.
Accommodation: Evo Lake Apartment has 7 bedrooms with a total of 14 bed places. In addition, the main hall’s couches offer 3 extra bed places. Blankets and pillows are included for the same amount as number of beds. If needed, several extra mattresses can be placed on the floor.
Sauna, shower and toilet facilites: Evo Lake Apartment’s 50 m2 sauna facility offers relaxation around the year for up to 15 persons at a time. The large and uniquely decorated sauna is heated with the press of a button and has a direct access to hot tubs, barbeque shelter and dipping into the lake or glade from the dock – all via the terrace!
There are 4 showers in 2 bathrooms and one more shower in the sauna to rinse before jumping in the hot tubs. There are 3 toilets available.
Lakeside sauna: The red traditional and log-built sauna located next to the lake is for those sauna purists who value the Finnish sauna traditions! The wood-heated sauna has a direct access to its own dock for dipping in the lake to cool off. The sauna has running water and a shower. There is a rough fireplace in front of the sauna for grilling sauna sausages.
Hot tubs: The destination has a total of 3 hot tubs which can be rented according to group size and need. 2 hot tubs are located on the main buildings terrace and one in front of the lakeside sauna. While relaxing in the hot tub’s warmth you can admire the beautiful lake and the mysterious forest scenery on the opposite shore. The terrace enables access to the hot tubs around the year with clean feet.
Barbeque areas: The barbecue area is located on the main terrace of the main building, next to the hot tubs and a separate barbecue hut between the main building and the beach sauna.
Fishing, boating and paddling: Evo Lake Apartment is located approx. 20 meters from the Lake Kaitalampi. The peaceful forest lake has no other buildings on its shores giving you a private opportunity to go rowing, paddling, SUP-boarding or trying your luck with fishing! In the winter the lake’s ice is perfect for ice fishing, cross-country skiing and ice skating. For a reasonable extra fee, we’ll gladly make a glade or a skating surface on the lake.
There is a combination of 3 lakes named Ylinen Rautjärvi, Ailinen Rautjärvi and Keskinen Rautjärvi which are close to Evo Peace. Just 400 meters away Lake Yilnen Rautjärvi offers 40 meters of private shoreline for our customers with one rowboat also available.

The price includes Evo Lake Apartment and the use of the in-door sauna. Additional services offer the use of the lakeside sauna, hot tubs, barbecue hut and -area, the final clean-up, towels and sheets with the beds made or sheets as a stack. We also rent boats and canoes, offer programme services and catering services as well as additional work services such as preheated saunas and hot tubs before our customers’ arrival.
