AULANKO LAKE TRIO is a combination of three accommodation buildings, a lakeside sauna and two sleeping cottages in the magnificent Lake Aulangonjärvi scenery. The modern, but still wilderness-style buildings are suitable for accommodation, leisure and conference use for our private and corporate guests. The three-lakefront buildings are located in the Aulanko Peace area, only about 15 meters from the shoreline and about 6 km from the center of Hämeenlinna. For our smaller groups, the Aulanko Lake Trio buildings are also rented as separate destinations of Aulanko Lakeside and Aulanko Lake Hide-out. View area illustration.
ACCOMMODATION: The Aulanko Lake Trio offers accommodation for up to 31 people in six buildings. The Main Villa has 11 to 15 beds in 4 bedrooms and main hall sofas. The Small Villa on the hill has bedroom with 3 beds and the living room / kitchen with 2-person sofa bed. The beach-side Mini Villa has a 140 cm wide double bed and 80 cm upper bed and the living room kitchen has a 1 person sofa bed. The beach sauna has a bedroom with 2 beds and two sleeping cottages with 4 beds each. The number of blankets and pillows available is equivalent to the number of beds. If needed, spare beds for a few guests are also available.
MAIN VILLA: Despite the modern comforts the Main Villa’s decorations still greet you with the original atmosphere. You won’t see any white plaster walls, modern furniture, glass surfaces nor the latest design in the multifunctional villa. Instead you’ll find an atmosphere that definitely won’t leave you cold. The main material is wood and the craftmanship of the local carpenters can be seen in the true and sturdy furniture. View detailed floor plan of Main Villa.
The Main Villa has a total area of 130 m2and the spacious 50 m2 main hall is just shy of 3 meters high and has seats for 18 persons to sit along the long wooden table. The same space can also be used for accommodation with the 2 convertible couches. The whole building has a free wireless internet access and large flat-screen TV which work nicely as regular TV as well as presentation screen. The main hall has also a direct access to the terrace which presents a beautiful view across the Lake Aulangonjärvi to the granite observation tower.
The Main Villa has tableware for 20 persons, an electric stove and oven, a large fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Moccamaster, an electric kettle and a toaster.
The electric sauna at the end of the Main Villa sits up to 8 persons at a time to relax in the sauna. The sauna has a direct access to the terrace which again is just a few steps away from the refreshing lake and the warm hot tub on the terrace. The sauna’s bathroom has 2 showers and a toilet. In addition, the Main Villa’s lobby has a separate WC.
SMALL VILLA: The kitchen-living room of the Small Villa, located behind a Main Villa on a ridge, has a table about 2.5 meters long, with space for 8 people to eat and be together. The kitchen is equipped with tableware for 10 people, fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Moccamaster coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The living room / kitchen also has beds for 2 people on a single sofa bed. A 50-inch flat-screen TV serves also as a conference screen.
The separate bedroom has beds for three people. The toilet and shower area is located in the extension of the hallway.
MINI-VILLA is located at the western end of area. Its kitchenette has a 2,5 meters long table for 8 persons to dine, converse and socialize. The kitchen has tableware for 10 persons, a fridge and a freezer, a stove and an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Moccamaster, an electric kettle and a toaster. The kitchenette has also 1 bed place on a convertible couch. The 50” flat screen TV works also as a presentation screen.
The bedroom has a 140 cm wide double bed and an 80 cm high bed and the living room / kitchenette has a sofa bed for 1 person. The toilet, sauna and shower are conveniently built as an extension to the entry. The sauna has space for 2–3 persons at a time to enjoy the experience. The main room has a direct access to the 25 square metre terrace which presents a gorgeous view over the national scenery of the Lake Aulangonjärvi all the way to the granite observation tower.
LAKESIDE SAUNA: The Aulanko Lake Trio’s outdoor sauna is located just 20 meters from the shoreline. The sauna has space for 8 persons at a time and has a direct access to the terrace and from there to the lake and back via the ladder for quick cool-offs. The sauna also has a shower and a toilet.
The dressing room has space for 8 persons to cool-off and socialize. The building has also a small bedroom with 2 bed places. The lakeside saunas terrace has a large hot tub for 6 to 8 persons to soak in and wonder about the meaning of life while admiring the scenery – any time of the year!
SLEEPING COTTAGES: The smallest buildings are separate log-built sleeping cottages which has also been renovated for year-round use. Each of them has bed places for 4 persons in 2 bunk beds.
FISHING, BOATING AND HIKING: The Aulanko Lake Trio area is located less than 20 meters from the shoreline which makes it effortless to go fishing, boating or paddling on the peaceful lake. During Winter the lake is obviously used for ice-fishing, cross-country skiing and ice-skating. We’ll gladly organize fishing guidance so be sure to ask for more information!
The area is just a few hundred meters from the magnificent Sibelius Forest, a nature reserve with with marked nature trail.
During the winter, it is easy to explore the Lake Aulangonjärvi ski trail maintained by the city of Hämeenlinna.
GRILLING: Between the main villa and the lakeside sauna, and next to the terrace of the Mini Villa, there are separate barbecue areas.

The price includes the use of the three villas and the two sleeping cottages.
