Terms of booking and payment

Evon Nature Ltd’s general booking and payment conditions from 18th April 2024.

NOTICE: We are preparing for an increase in VAT from 10% to 14% for the hospitality sector, as mandated by the Council of State, which is expected to take effect on January 1, 2025. Consequently, we will raise our prices by about 5% no later than January 1, 2025. However, orders made before this date will avoid the price increase, even if the stay occurs after the VAT increase. Therefore, orders confirmed before December 31, 2024, will be honored at the current prices, even if the stay is in 2025.

All commitments on this website are made between the customer and the seller Evo Nature Ltd. The seller can also be called with the auxiliary business names Peace and Privacy or Peace & Privacy or Evon Luonto Oy in Finnish language.

  1. The customer undertakes that the reserved destination will only be used for the purpose stated at the time of booking and that the Finnish law will be followed when staying at the destination. Organizing events related to racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia, as well as other events contrary to good manners, is prohibited. If it becomes known to the seller that the reservation has actually been made for the aforementioned purpose without informing the seller, the seller has the right to cancel the reservation made and not to return the paid reservation fees.
  2. The prices shown on this website are indicative starting prices outside of high season. Prices are higher in high season. However, we always make a binding offer to each customer before ordering, based on the time of the reservation, the number of people and the length of the reservation. During certain seasons, we reserve the right to rent our properties only for periods of several days. We always inform you of this in advance in connection with the offer received by the customer. We reserve the right to change the prices of our services announced on various third-party websites.
  3. The maximum number of people is recorded in the price of the offer received by the customer. The prices of the offer will not change afterwards, even if there are fewer people. If the maximum amount recorded in the offer is exceeded, the customer must inform the seller of this. The destinations’ base price normally includes the use of the following facilities; accommodation, kitchen, bathrooms and a single sauna. With the base price the customer independently retrieves and returns the key to the keycode box and cleans up the destination after use. We are only able to provide additional on-site services if they have been booked and paid for in advance.
  4. Additional services such as customer reception, hot tubs, bedsheets, preparations for saunas and hot tubs, various food and meeting services and the final clean-up is always reserved and billed separately with each offer.
  5. The reservation is confirmed from the customers side when the customer accepts the reservation via phone or email. Thereafter, the reservation can no longer be canceled. The customer is required to pay 30% of the whole reservation price when booking.
  6. If the reservation is made less than 6 weeks before the appointed time the customer is required to pay the full reservation price while booking.
  7. The booking is confirmed when the customer has paid 30% of the booking fee by the due date or the full amount of the booking at once. The final payment of 70% will be sent no later than eight (8) weeks before the start of the booking and will be paid no later than six (6) weeks before the start of the booking. The booking or final payment will not be refunded if the customer cancels the booking. If the value added tax or other business taxes imposed by the government increase after the customer has accepted the offer, we reserve the right to increase the pricing received by the customer in accordance with the tax change, but no more than 5%.
  8. If the customer does not pay in time the seller has the right to cancel the order without notice.
  9. Notices related to the invoice must be notified within days of the invoice’s date. The billing service charge is 3,50 €/invoice. To avoid misunderstanding, we will deal with issues and remarks on invoices only by email, address [email protected]. We charge 5 € / invoice for sending payment reminders and / or payment notes. The collection of unpaid invoices is handled by Visma Financial Solutions Ltd.
  10. Customer is to provide valid invoicing address and other invoicing details needed along with the reservation confirmation. If no billing instructions are provided, we will email the pdf invoice. The destination key code can only be handed over to customers whose bills have been paid before the date of arrival. If customer wishes to alter the invoicing details after the invoice has been made, we charge a 15 € change fee. In a new invoice, the due date will remain the same as the invoice previously sent. If our corporate customers require filling of separate supplier forms and / or additional administrative costs before submitting an invoice, we reserve the right to charge 75 €/hour for these working hours. For paper invoices, we charge 5 € for shipping. When making a reservation, the customer must provide appropriate billing information, including at least first name, last name, phone number and email address and, if requested, street address. If necessary, the seller has the right to check the customer’s creditworthiness.
  11. The destination is normally available from 14:00 on the day of arrival to noon on the departure day. Arrival times on Fridays are 16:00.
  12. The group size must be notified when confirming the reservation. If the group size increases from what was agreed upon the customer is obliged to notify the seller.
  13. If the customer has not ordered the final cleaning but has not performed the final cleaning according to the final cleaning checklist, we reserve the right to charge triple the price of the final cleaning. However, if a final cleaning is ordered, the customer must do the dishes they have used, put the rubbish in the rubbish bin and take away the food they have brought in, and empty the hot tub after use. The condition of the property must be in the footsteps of normal living. If the final cleaning ordered by the customer requires special measures in addition to normal cleaning (eg disinfection, cleaning up vomiting, removal of liquid stains), we reserve the right to charge € 45 / hour for extra work.
  14. If the customer has damaged any premises, areas or movables owned by the seller the seller has the right to bill the customer for the repair expenses. The customer is obliged to notify the seller immediately for any caused damage. Events that cause noise in the environment are prohibited.
  15. If the customer loses the key to the accommodation, the seller has the right to charge the customer for the costs incurred, however, at least € 200. 75 € / visit + 35 € / hour + travel allowance of 1 € / km will be charged for opening a door or other maintenance visit due to the customer.
  16. Forgotten items will be delivered to the guest by mail. The return will be charged at € 45 for handling and postage, regardless of the value of the returned item. It is not possible to retrieve lost and found items from the destination and all items will be returned to the customer by post. The customer must notify the marks of the forgotten goods with the return address in writing by e-mail to [email protected]
  17. The seller is not obliged to refund or compensate for any harm or damage caused to the customer by unpredictable force majeures or similar reason (such as natural phenomenon, blackouts, etc.). For example, in possible so-called In cases of overbooking, if the seller cancels the customer’s reservation, the seller is obliged to refund the customer in full the fees paid by the customer, but not any indirect costs or other compensation. If external experts have to be used to investigate possible complaints, the seller and the customer undertake to pay half of the costs incurred.
  18. In a motorhome or caravan, overnight stays and their use of electricity in the courtyard of Peace & Privacy destinations are permitted provided that the terms and conditions relating thereto are expressly agreed upon at the time of booking.
  19. The use of electric for caravans and motorhomes and the charging of electric vehicles are in principle prohibited. Permission must be requested separately. We charge a one-time fee of 15 € / car / use for the use of electricity in caravans and motorhomes and for charging electric vehicles, if the destination is equipped with a charging station for electric vehicles.. We reserve the right to charge 20 € / car / use for unauthorized use and / or charging of electricity. If the site’s electrical system breaks down due to the customer’s use of electricity, the customer is obliged to reimburse all costs.
  20. Burning candles and outdoor folio candles in all areas inside or outside is forbidden for security reasons.
  21. The destinations have been pre-finished with a sand or similar product for anti-slippage. If necessary, the customer shall distribute it to the fairway.
  22. We appreciate if our guests do not bring plastic disposable tableware. They burden the environment and increase the waste load.
  23. The guests are free to bring their own food and drinks to all our destinations and to use the dishes of each destination freely or, alternatively, to order ready meals from the seller’s catering service according to separate menus provided by the seller. If desired, the customer may also use another catering company of their choice, provided that the the operator brings his own dishes and takes care of the thorough final cleaning of all the premises he uses and the removal of the dishes before the end of the reservation. If the customer does not choose the seller’s catering service, the customer must handle all communication with the catering service company directly. We reserve the right to charge the customer for any additional work resulting from the use of an external catering service provider.
  24. If the guest brings pets to the destination, the guest is fully responsible for their safety. Where necessary, means and / or substances for repelling pests may be used at destinations in order to e.g. the mice would stay away.
  25. If the destination is uncleaned or there are defects on arrival, the customer should contact us immediately by calling +358 (0)20 7300 888 (open from 10 to 18). Please also send photos of the deficiencies by e-mail to [email protected] so that we can verify and correct the deficiencies.
  26. If the customer has ordered the use of the bath tub(s) without the filling and preheating service, the customer must have previous general experience and / or expertise in the use of the bath tubs and bring matches. In frosts above 10 degrees, we do not recommend the use of bath tubs. We reserve the right to charge the customer for possible damages if the customer has not ordered a pre-heating service or has used the bathtub contrary to the instructions. If the use of bath tub(s) is prevented due to frost, we will fully refund the bath tub fee.
  27. We reserve the right to change our service prices published in internet at various third party web sites.
