GENERAL INFORMATION: The villa offers natural surroundings for events of all kinds for groups of 1-60 people. Located by a tranquil wilderness lake, this lumberjack villa is suitable for conferences, corporate events, recreation and team-building days, summer and winter vacations, as well as fishing-focused cabin trips.

MAIN HALL AND LOUNGE/CONFERENCE SPACES: The main building’s main hall can accommodate approximately 25 guests. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a flip chart, a projector screen, and a 55-inch flat-screen TV with HDMI connectivity. Adjacent to the hall is a smaller conference room that can seat about 10 people for dining, and it also features a 55-inch television.

ACCOMMODATION: Ruuhijärvi offers a total of around 23 bed places. In the main building, there are two 6-person bedrooms, one 5-person bedroom, and a sitting area with a sofa bed for 2. In the lobby, there are two double sofa beds. One of the lakeside saunas has a bunk bed for 2 and additional mattresses for 2. In a separate small cabin in the yard, there are bed places for 1-4 guests. The small cabin is suitable for accommodation when the outdoor temperature is no lower than -5 degrees Celsius. Blankets and pillows are provided corresponding to the number of bed spaces.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is equipped with tableware for a minimum of 25 guests, 2 electric stoves and ovens, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a Moccamaster coffee maker, and a microwave. We recommend bringing your own drinking water, as the well water has a metallic taste, and we do not recommend it for drinking or cooking.

SAUNAS, SHOWERS, AND TOILETS: In the main building, there is an electrically heated indoor sauna for 4 people, along with a changing room, 3 showers, and 3 separate toilets.

In the smaller lakeside sauna, there is a wood-heated sauna stove and a 40-litre hot water tank. Approximately 10 sauna-goers can fit on the benches at once, and the changing room is fit for about 10 guests as well. The larger lakeside sauna accommodates about 8 bathers at a time, and its spacious changing room can accommodate approximately 15 people. It is insulated and electrically heated.

OUTDOOR SPACES AND HOT TUBS: There are two wood-heated hot tubs for 6 people located on the terrace between the lakeside saunas, close to the water’s edge. In front of the main building, there is a year-round barbecue shelter and a separate campfire site. Adjacent to the main building, there is an open terrace with benches, and a separate terrace next to the campfire site.

EVENT SHED: The rustic, log-built Ruuhijärvi Event Shed, designed for year-round use, offers a wilderness-themed event space for up to approximately 50 guests. The space features cosy electric lighting, sturdy log tables and benches, and a wood-heated stove that makes the venue inviting even during colder seasons. The Event Shed is suitable for celebratory dining, hosting wilderness-themed meetings, and also works well as an intimate performance space.

FISHING, BOATING, AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: There is a boat available at the lakeshore, allowing you to go rowing or fishing on the tranquil lake. The lake is situated in the middle of the renowned Evo outdoor areas, which offer dozens of kilometres of hiking and skiing trails.

PRICES: The basic booking price of Evo Ruuhijärvi includes the main building’s facilities, including the use of the indoor sauna and one of the lakeside saunas. Additional services for order include the log-built Event Shed, the second lakeside sauna, 1-2 hot tubs, a barbecue shelter, a separate 4-person small cabin for overnight stays, additional tableware, final cleaning, bed linens pre-made or provided separately, and towels. We also offer the rental of boats and canoes, programme services, catering services, and work services such as preparing saunas and hot tubs before guests arrive.
