Aulanko Lakeside’s core is about 15 bed places multifunctional facility that is conceptually designed for both business and private use around the year. In addition, the new multifunctional villa is connected commercially to three previously refurbished buildings. This creates a total of about 25 beds, which serves a wide range of customer groups.
“The Aulanko Grand Villa and the Aulanko Lake Villa, completed in 2017, have been very successful in tourism, demand has been enough right from the beginning, and investments of about 600 000 euros will now continue as construction begins in Aulanko Lakeside complex”, says Kaj Järvinen, entrepreneur of Evo Nature Ltd.
“It’s been great to see the new rise of the former Aulanko Heikkilä region with new investments, and the past summer’s use of the area has been fast-tracked for a year-round tourism, which is a valuable asset in the development of Aulanko Area tourism. Naturally increasing the attractiveness and longevity of Hämeenlinna’s tourism, and the new construction and the renovation of the city’s old buildings completely without the city’s money at the risk of entrepreneurs are exceptionally fine”, says Mervi Käki, Managing Director of Hämeenlinna city development company Linnan Kehitys Ltd.
